However, installing a solar farm on non-developable land requires a series of steps and reports to ensure that the project complies with all the regulations and rules in force. In this article we will explore the key steps and the reports needed for a solar farm on non-developable land to be accepted for processing.

    Feasibility Study: The first step is to carry out a feasibility study to determine whether the selected site is suitable for the solar farm. This study includes analysing factors such as solar radiation, the topography of the land, proximity to the electricity grid and weather conditions. This data is essential to ensure that the project will be efficient and profitable.

    Locating Connection Points and Land : It is crucial to identify the location of the electricity grid connection points and the land available for the solar farm. This information makes it possible to plan the infrastructure needed to connect the solar farm to the grid efficiently. Proximity to the connection points can significantly influence the costs and the viability of the project.

    Permits and Licences: Once the site has been established as viable, the necessary permits and licences must be obtained. These include environmental permits, building permits and operating licences. Each country and region has its own regulations, so it is important to consult the local authorities for specific information.

    Environmental Impact Study: One of the most important reports is the environmental impact study. This report assesses the potential effects of the solar farm on the environment and proposes measures to mitigate those impacts. The environmental impact study must be approved by the competent authorities before the project can proceed.

    Landscape Impact Study: This study analyses how the solar farm will affect the landscape of the area. It includes a visual assessment and proposes measures to minimise the visual impact of the solar farm, such as planting vegetation around the installation.

    Agrological Study: This study assesses the impact of the solar farm on local agriculture. It analyses how the installation may affect soil quality and the growing capacity of the area. It proposes measures to mitigate any negative impact on agriculture.

    Soil Study: This study analyses the characteristics of the soil on the non-developable land. It includes an assessment of the soil composition, its drainage capacity and its stability. This study is important to ensure that the land is suitable for the solar farm.
